11/06/17: Totteridge two-miler

A Totteridge two-miler. Very hot day, so didn't feel especially energetic. Walked along the Dollis Brook, slowly frying in the sun.

Saw a man "zooming" his toddler through the sky like he/she was Superman. Saw another man smiling on a recumbent bicycle. Saw quite a few dogs. Saw joggers. Saw a woman walking along while lifting small weights in each hand.

A large crow flew low over the field. A robin sat in the shade of the wet long grass, sheltering from the heat.

Checked up on the conker tree I planted in a secret location at the edge of the river. (1) It was doing OK, but for the swiftly spreading bindweed. I removed that, but was stung all over my hand and bare arm by nettles. Worth it, though, to help the tree.
